Saudi prince’s convoy attacked by gunmen in Paris

Gunmen attacked a Saudi prince’s motorcade in northern Paris on Sunday night, stealing sensitive documents and 250,000 euros in cash.

The motorcade was near Porte de la Chapelle making its way to Paris’s Le Bourget airport when the Kalashnikov-toting gunmen attacked it and took control of the last vehicle in the convoy, a Mercedes minivan, according to Reuters.

The gunmen stole the cash and documents from the three Saudis in the minivan, who they released, La Liberation reported. The Mercedes was later found burned along with other cars used by the attackers.

Police told Reuters that no shots were fired and no one was hurt. The gunmen are still at large, and an investigation has been launched.
