Israeli drone shot down by Iran

Iran said on Sunday it had shot down an Israeli stealth drone that was heading toward its nuclear enrichment site at Natanz.
Quoting Iran’s Revolutionary Guards spokesman General Ramazan Sharif, the Gulf Daily News said the drone involved is believed to be a “new generation” model used by Israel.

In a statement on its website, sepahnews.com, the Revolutionary Guards said the drone was identified upon arrival in Iranian airspace, but allowed to fly for a short time to determine its destination.

Natanz is Iran's main uranium enrichment site, housing more than 16,000 centrifuges, according to Al Jazeera.
The drone was shot down by a surface-to-air missile before it managed to enter the area, the Revolutionary Guards said. The major parts of the drone remain intact, and the Revolutionary Guards said it was working to obtain intelligence from the wreckage.
