Cell phone video of a man getting stabbed at an Atlanta station has drawn outrage. Internet commenters have blasted a crowd of people who watched what looked to set to be a fatal stabbing and fail to call for help.
The incident happened at around 11 a.m. on August 9 on the eastbound train platform of the Ashby MARTA station in Atlanta. One bystander, Rashad Toryano William Smith, who posted a video of the brawl on his Facebook the day of the fight, later tried to clear his name by posting a second video filmed by another bystander, which shows Smith breaking up the fight and separating the victim from the attacker, 26 year-old Rodney Dwight Banks.
The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening knife wounds and released.
