Christopher Driskill, a 42-year-old obstetrician and gynecologist, has been suspended from practicing medicine after the New Mexico state medical board ruled he presented a “clear and imminent danger to the public.”
In its report, the board accuses Driskill of keeping a personal stash of booze in his office and of getting drunk during work hours and carrying on sexual relations with patients and women employed at a neighboring clinic.
He’s also accused of prescribing drugs to a girlfriend without proper medical records.
It gets better. The board’s report also accuses the married father of four of leaving lewd notations on the medical charts of certain patients, and on multiple occasions, of leaving woman about to give birth unattended so he could have sex with current and former patients.
These allegations and more, 11 in total, are outlined in a notice of suspension from the medical board, which is now considering whether it will revoke his license.
