Toyota car accident: ‘86 sportscar totalled after wealthy man crashes into scooter, van and store

The northern Taiwanese driver of this shiny red Toyota ‘86 grand tourer sports coupe crashed into a scooter, a parked van, and finally the glass front of a store in Hsinchu.
The scooter driver was sent to the hospital with serious injuries, but the guilty driver of the red sports car was completely unscathed thanks to his airbag.
The 26-year-old driver, identified only by his last name Chen, allegedly drifted off at the wheel of the car and clipped the back of the scooter, before smashing into the side of the parked van and shoving the parked vehicle into a store front.
Chen was so shook up following the crash he could barely speak, his hands shaking as he clutched his cellphone. When his dad arrived and confronted him about the crash and the damaged car, he burst into tears.
Somehow I don’t think crying is going to get you off the hook for this one.
