Do you have annoying problems with anti-skid tape coming off the pedals of the electric unicycle? Yes, you are not alone.
After few months of frustrating re-applying anti-skid tapes and wasting lot's of time & money maintaining the pedals, I finally throw in the towel.
After brainstorming and shopping around, I finally found the things I need for my little experiment.
1. Krylon Anti-skid coating 2. Electrical tape or any paint tape 3. Fine art sand (preferably the colour you like) 4. Cloth hanger 5. Newspaper 6. Eye protective goggle & dust mask
Direction: - Use electrical tape to cover parts of the pedals where you do not want to spray especially the holes of the pedals. - Put some newspaper on the floor where you will spray - Wear protective goggle & mask - Shake anti-skid coating can for 2 minutes - Spray generous amount on the pedals - Sprinkle lots of art sand onto the wet parts - let the pedals dry overnight - remove electrical tapes off the pedals - re-install the pedals back to the electric unicycle - finished!
Repeat the process when you feel the friction is too slippery which can take some time...like a few months.
Pros - No worrying of non-skid tape sliding off as it's sprayed on. - Long lasting - Cheaper in the long run.
