00:00Did you find out where your brother's ranch is?
00:03No, but he left a letter for me to wait here.
00:06He said he sends them to town for supplies every week.
00:08Said his man will find them.
00:10That's great.
00:11You're all set then.
00:13Both of us.
00:18I brought you a present.
00:19A present?
00:28Lovely.
00:30But he doesn't have any brooches like yours.
00:33Oh, it's beautiful.
00:37You think that'll help me grow on you?
00:42Do you know when to expect your brother's man?
00:44No.
00:45Actually, all I know about this deal was in Brad's one letter.
00:49He found me at Fort Sheridan right after the Custer massacre last year.
00:53Who read that?
00:55Well, Captain Benteen.
00:57Custer sent us in first, on the left.
01:00Benteen got some of us out alive.
01:02Brad saw the list of survivors.
01:04Oh, and then he wrote you the letter about the big spread of 2,000 heads.
01:09Well, it was supposed to be that big by this time.
01:13You know, the things that split us up and sent me into the Army
01:16were all buried in the past.
01:19He wrote that he was burning calves with an honest B.W. brand.
01:23Brad Wayne Ranch, Northwest Aleric.
01:25Oh, that's wonderful.
01:28Yeah, except for one thing.
01:30I've been asking around town and nobody's ever heard of the brand.
01:34Didn't make that story.
01:37I don't see how a man can raise 2,000 head of cattle here
01:40and not have anyone in the town know the brand.
01:43Strange.
01:45Still, I've got to see for myself.
01:58You Wayne Stantley?
02:01Yeah, that's right.
02:03Brad Stantley.
02:04I'm Pawnee.
02:06You can start as soon as you're ready.
02:09I'll join you outside.
02:14Wayne's laying close to your bed.
02:16Don't you worry.
02:17One way or the other, I'll be back.
02:20There you go.
02:21Honey, Brad's my brother.
02:23He wants to see me.
02:25Okay.
02:26I'll be watching for you.
02:33How am I doing?
02:35Very sweet.
02:36Very tender.
