The Downton Abbey Cast Come Out To Party At The Savoy

We are used to seeing Downton Abbey's Lady Edith and Lady Cora dressed to the nines in exquisite period costume but as they hit the red carpet for the Downton Abbey Ball at the Savoy Hotel they looked like thoroughly modern Millies. Laura Carmichael worked a fashion forward black Antonio Berradi gown with a cut out shoulder and thigh split. While Elizabeth McGovern went for glitz and glamour in a sweeping black sequined dress with a cowl neck and fishtail skirt. Joining the aristocratic actors were cast mates, Hugh Bonneville AKA Lord Robert, Jim Carter AKA everyone's favourite butler, Mr Carson. Phyllis Logan who plays Mrs Hughes and Lesley Nichol who plays super cook Mrs Patmore.
