In January of 2015, World Sindhi Congress gathered with Sindhis in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom to celebrate and remember the good works of Saeen GM Syed, a prominent activist that helped start the Sindhi right movement. WSC chairman Lakhumal Luhano gave a speech at the Houston, TX festivities in memory of GM Syed.
