A man dressed as a Smurf was shot and injured on a Halloween night out. Reports said the man and his girlfriend, who were both painted blue, had been at a party in Jefferson Park, Los Angeles, when they got into an argument. The girlfriend was punched and the man was shot in the ankle as he tried to help her. The gunman then fled the scene, police said. The man's injuries were not life threatening. Source: NBC LA
