An Illinois man showed the world exactly what they shouldn’t do if they spot a deadly tornado nearby, and it was all captured on video.
On Thursday, fierce storms ripped through Rochelle, producing large twisters which destroyed everything in their path. While most of us would run at the terrifying site of a massive tornado, one man decided he would remain in its path, according to KFOR.
Intense video shows the man, identified as Sam Smith, in his vehicle as a massive twister barrels straight towards him. Smith isn’t a professional storm chaser, according to the person who uploaded the video, but he thought it would be a good idea anyways to see how close he could get, and it nearly cost him his life.
