00:15I'm Khloe Kardashian Odom and you're watching The Litter, right here on The Pet Collective.

00:20Foster dad has kept mama and the kittens in his bedroom ever since they arrived.

00:24It helps mama keep the babies safe and in one place.

00:28And it helps them develop a bond with a human.

00:30You want them to be comfortable around people from the start.

00:33And it helps them stay well adjusted as they continue to grow.

00:38Keeping the kittens in his room has its drawbacks though.

00:41Now that they're so active, any time they're awake means play time.

00:46Especially every time foster dad tries to sleep.

00:50To cats, night time is the right time for huge brawls, knocking stuff over, or anything

00:55else you might do if you're awake and have claws and fangs and a hunter's instinct.

01:02Just for us, foster dad grabbed a camera when the kids decided to have an ultimate fighting

01:07championship on him.

01:08At three o'clock in the morning.

01:11It's hard to believe something so cute could be such a deadly hunter.

01:16Wilbur, what a little pouncer.

01:19You'd probably be great at hunting a mouse if you weren't the size of one.

01:23Ugh, typical kids.

01:25At least put your toys away.

01:27And they don't even have clothes to leave around.

01:31They might mess up the room every day, but at least they're learning how to keep themselves

01:34clean.

01:35Mom's been teaching them how to bathe since they were days old.

01:39Cats are super clean, quite possibly a little OCD.

01:43That runs in my family as well.

01:45Their tongue has hundreds of sharp little points that help them when they're bathing

01:48themselves.

01:49It's like a loofah made of barbed wire and kitten spit.

01:53Ouch.

01:54When they're in the wild, this is how they'd keep any smell that could give them away to

01:58a predator.

01:59Now, the only predators they have to really worry about are each other.

02:03Next time on The Litter, the kids are getting really independent and it's making mom lonely.
