00:00Today, we're making a parody of the Katy Perry California Girl video, and so we're building
00:10Candy Land, as you can see.
00:12All these parts are movable, so we can break it apart and film the inside of it.
00:16We're going to be filming all the plates, all the background stuff, and then we'll eventually
00:21put all the dogs in.
00:22I'm making a gingerbread house, Katy Perry style, got some printouts, a little reference.
00:35Bailey, right now, is chewing on Gingerbread Man, which is actually a bone.
00:43So when we decide to do a parody, the first thing we do is try to make something that
00:48would translate well to Bart.
00:51I found that the California Girls video was very visually striking, and it had a very
00:56recognizable style to it that would transfer well to dogs covering it.
01:02So this is the post-process for the Katy Puppy video.
01:05Right now, I'm compositing all the plates and all the characters that we shot into the
01:10music video that we're going to make.
01:12This is a scene that I call Chocolate Candy Mountain, and it's Katy Puppy has to cross
01:17the bridge of licorice to save the kitten that is trapped in a bubble.
01:24So you want to know, we all can't feel our fingers because it's all covered with super
01:45glue.
01:47Glue will be for days.
