Apparently, before a cold wave may hit the new Punto at showrooms, Fiat India has another trim developed under its sleeve which it will reveal anytime during the festive season. Call it the Punto T-Jet, it will use the same 1.4-litre turbocharged engine from Linea to make 135bhp. In fact, manual transmission will retain the hold in drivetrain unlike its rival Polo GT TSI that uses a 7-speed DSG. However, spy-shots aims the car is clear of tests and been developed up to the finalization. It is just a matter of time the company is awaited to bring it in the market. Hence, we must expect decent hike in price of T-Jet over the standard variant of Punto. Well, the same treatment of T-Jet engine will also get Avventura in its rhythm at a near future.
