A freight train derailed in Saskatchewan, Canada on Tuesday, necessitating the evacuation of about 50 people.

Reuters reports the derailed freight train had three locomotives and was pulling 100 cars. It was travelling from Winnipeg, Manitoba to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan when 26 cars derailed near the town of Clair.

There were six cars carrying dangerous goods: two were carrying petroleum distillate, two cars held hydrochloric acid and two cars were transporting caustic soda, said Reuters.

The two cars spilled petroleum distillate, causing a large fire. There were no reports of injuries.
