Tinder violence: date starts great ends in stabbing and robbery

Atlanta police are now investigating after a man was stabbed and his car was stolen by a date he met using the mobile dating app Tinder.
Police were called to help the victim after he was locked in the bathroom of a friend’s apartment after initially meeting his Tinder date at a nearby McDonald’s.
The two men met each other over Tinder and set up a meeting at the Mickey D’s on Barrett Parkway, and then went to a friend’s apartment on Defoors Ferry Road, according to a police report.
The victim said the two were ‘fooling around’ when the other man started stabbing him with what appeared to be a pocket knife.
The man then forced the victim into the bathroom and locked him inside. The man stole his money and took off in his Honda Accord.
The victim was able to get out of the bathroom and stumble out of the apartment. He then found a yard crew working outside.
The victim had four stab wounds and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Police are currently looking for the suspect.
