Egyptian police officer killed while defusing bomb on streets of Giza

Video footage from an Egyptian TV station has captured the moment a brave member of the Egyptian police lost his life while trying to defuse an explosive device planted outside a police station in Giza.
The newly married father of a young child is shown approaching the device before it explodes, killing him instantly despite his protective suit.
The bomb is the latest in a series of attacks on security forces during the run up to Christmas for Coptic Christians, which falls on the January 7.
