Quarantine: Missing woman was detained by authorities for 5 days, no outside contact

Ms. Huang, age 31, travelled to Paris, France on her own to meet with a friend living there earlier last month.
When she left France, she boarded a flight bound for Shanghai, where she was to transfer before flying back to her home country, Taiwan.
A friend in France dropped her off at the airport, but that was the last time her friends and family heard from her.
Airport authorities said she’d checked in and passed through security, but had never boarded her flight.
Her younger sister reported her missing and the friend in France also posted her information on Facebook and asked if any of her other friends had heard from her.
Five days later, the Taiwan Representative Office in France finally received a call from Paris police authorities telling them that they had located Ms. Huang.
Apparently, as Ms. Huang was passing through French customs, but her body temperature was high according to the thermal camera there. So the French Welfare and Health Department sent her to a hospital for quarantine. They left her in the hospital for the past 5 days with no way to contact her family or friends.
A Taiwanese representative will be going to visit her in the isolation ward and to help her contact her friends and family.
So, what would have happened if she really was sick and died there?
