Jihadi John gets a name: Mohammed Emwazi was a delightful UK schoolboy

“Jihadi John” has a real name: Mohammed Emwazi, and he seems to have been a nice little chap who grew up in west London and attended St. Mary Magdalene Church of England Primary School.
Born in Kuwait in 1988, his folks moved to London when he was six and his school yearbook lists his favorite color as blue, monkeys were his favorite animals, he enjoyed football and his favorite cartoon was The Simpsons.
He earned himself a degree in computing in 2009 and then did some travelling in Africa, where he somehow got on the radar of anti-terror officials.
That same year, the young man went back to Kuwait for a good old-fashioned arranged marriage, but cops allegedly contacted his bride to be, scaring her off the wedding. A second attempt at finding arranged marital bliss also fell through.
Returning to the UK, he was questioned for six hours at the airport. When he tried to go back to Kuwait, he was told he could only travel to Dubai. In 2013 he was again denied permission to enter Kuwait.
The young man then disappeared. A few months later, UK police told his folks they had intel he entered Syria. Little Mohammed Emwazi had become Jihadi John.
