Looking for love in NYC: Dan Perino, 51, posts 40,000 flyers of his face in search of a girlfriend

Dan Perino is a 51-year-old aspiring actor who started posting flyers of his face and phone number around Manhattan last summer.
8,000 phone calls and 181 hookups later, the NYC native said he’s moving his campaign abroad.
“I don’t care how long it takes,” Perino told News.com.au. “I’m getting kind of sick of American women. Women overseas are much more relaxed.”
Though his campaign hasn’t yet landed him a serious girlfriend, Perino has been on plenty of dates. He reportedly went out with 67 women in the first six weeks.
Perino said he spends at least three hours every day posting his advertisement around town. He has reportedly put up 40,000 flyers.
“I try to keep it below 14th street although I do go up to mid-town sometimes,” he said.
Perino said he responds to every inquiry, but that not every call ends in a date. He is looking for women aged 25 to 37 because he “wants to start a family.”
Perino has been married once before and has a teenaged daughter, according to XO Jane. He recently started an online crowdsourcing campaign to raise money for a pilot reality television show.
