Across the United States, citizens are battling cities over the right to use robo tickets aka red-light cameras to patrol the streets.
On one side of the argument is law enforcement who believe the tickets cut back on speeding and accidents.
Some drivers, however, feel the tickets are unjust and more about profit than public safety.
Thanks to an LA Superior Court ruling, attorney Mark Gallagher tells TomoNews, drivers who get red light tickets in LA County are free to simply ignore the tickets because they are no longer being reported to the DMV for failure to pay.
