Voting is underway in Sudan’s presidential election, which is expected to see current leader Omar al-Bashir extend his 25-year rule. The opposition have boycotted the polls, which have also been criticized by international leaders. Sudan has been in economic turmoil since the secession of oil-rich South Sudan in 2011.
