Window washer falls: platform flies out of control 91 floors up at Shanghai World Financial Center

Two window washers escaped death in what could have been a fall from the 91st floor of the Shanghai World Financial Center last week. The men, their names unknown, were on a window washing platform outside the tower when strong winds sent their platform swinging.
The momentum built and the platform became a pendulum, flying through the air and smashing into the glass windows. The building is China's second tallest and stands over 1,600 feet. A fall, obviously, would have been fatal.
The workers were finally rescued after the platform smashed a window and came to a stop in a happy end to what had to be the most terrifying ride these two men had ever experienced.
