Israel temporarily opened its Kerem Shalom border crossing with the Gaza Strip today, allowing 500 trucks filled with humanitarian aid, goods, and fuel to enter the beleaguered Palestinian enclave. An additional 120 trucks carrying building materials earmarked for private sector construction also entered the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, radical Palestinian organizations including Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine held protests in Gaza over Islamic State attacks on the Yarmouk refugee camp in Syria.
