In August 1992, Southern Pacific 4449 pulled an excursion for the 1992 NRHS Convention in San Jose, CA. The train performs a photo runby at Pinole.
The whistle belongs to Skip Gage, who passed away in August 2005. This video gives a minor tribute to Skip, to someone who was a good friend of him. (I didn't know Skip, I'm just doing this)
