1- Peter Island Resort (British Virgin Islands)
The island contains hiking and biking trails on which to discover the tropical flora and fauna indigenous to Peter Island. The beaches face the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea, and the Sir Francis Drake Channel. Two of the beaches (Honeymoon and White bay) are for use by guests only.

The island's biggest beach is Deadman's Bay, a mile-long crescent beach shaded by palm trees with a section open to visitors. The only hotel, the 52-room Peter Island Resort, ranked in Conde Nast Traveler’s “Gold List,” is accessible by boat or helicopter. A 1984 review in the New York Times was critical of the food. It has since twice been named by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the "Best Places to Stay in the World".

2- Abama Golf & Spa Resort (Santa Gruz de Tenerife, Spain)

The Abama Golf & Spa Resort, Tenerife, Canary Islands Autonomous Community, is a huge and very luxurious 5 star resort located in one of the slopes of Mount Teide, in the municipality of Guía de Isora, surrounded by the wonderful charm of the Atlantic Ocean beaches as privileged natural setting.

A formidable stone structure earthen polyhedral heads this citadel hotel with luxury villas made of heather and pine Islands. With La Gomera as visual border, the resort features several swimming pools, streams, its fabulous beaches, beautiful forests and gardens and a spa and Wellness Center.

Whatever your choice, both rooms and suites are spacious and bright and have a dazzling decoration. In addition, of course, have all the features you would expect from a hotel of similar category: 32-inch plasma TV, air conditioning, internet access, full bath.

3- The Chedi (Sakala, Bali)

It is situated away from the heavily-touristed areas such as Kuta and Seminyak. Secondly, it does not enjoy a beachfront location. Further, if you’re after a rustic, thatched-roof Balinese experience, then this won’t be your cup of tea (or coconut juice – it is Bali after all), either.

Like most Asian hotels and resorts, the service is warm and friendly, although for me, it could have been a little quicker, but that’s my nit-picking. I highly recommend paying the nominal surcharge for these suites, as it’s so convenient to be able to just drop into the pool for a cooling dip anytime of the day or night, or even to just enjoy the calming effect of the water and the gardens when seated in the living room or reclining in bed.

4- Ocean House (Watch hill, Rhode Island)

Perched high on the bluffs of Watch Hill, Rhode Island, Ocean House is an iconic New England seaside resort, and the first and only AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five-Star hotel in the state. Ocean House's OH! Spa and Seasons restaurant are also Forbes Five-Star rated, making Ocean House a triple Five-Star resort (one of only 10 resorts in the world and five in the U.S. with this honor).

5- Lizard Island Resort (Lizard Island, Australia)

Lizard Island is truly secluded from the rest of the world. Our Great Barrier Reef resort is the northern most resort located directly on the Barrier Reef, with 24 powdery-white beaches and 40 luxurious suites. 6- Niyama, Olhuvelii Island (Dhaalu Atoll, Maldives)

Dance the night away in NIYAMA’s underwater music club – the first in the Maldives – and bask in the glory of a vacation that has rekindled your love of many things; the ocean, the sky, visits to the spa, wining and dining, your life, and love itself.

Head to Epicure for breakfast, lunch and dinner, relax on the rooftop at sunset at Fahrenheit, and venture out to TRIBAL, a modern day campsite where the Tribal Chefs provide the entertainment. Or step onto a boat and travel 500 meters offshore to NIYAMA’s signature restaurant and lounge.

Come up for air at O2 - an underwater meeting space - and marvel at the Marine Biology lab for coral rehabilitation and education. Try your hand at traditional sailing, relax with a book, and – above all - have fun.
