Revelation means ‘an unveiling.’ God the Father unveiled Christ, to make known to finite human beings what we could not find out ourselves. God’s revelations throughout the entire Bible are literal because He is a concrete God. Hence, it is illogical to conclude that He would now resort to allegorical writing to explain the significant realities of eschatology. Although it reveals future events and prophesies, it is relevant for the church today.
