In recent years there has been growing concern about the treatment of the pachyderms, and even a number of lawsuits.
Further, at local levels a number of ordinances that President Kenneth Feld calls ‘anti-elephant’ and ‘anti-circus’ have been passed.
Rather than pumping money into fighting them, he prefers see the funds go to the care and preservation of the animals.
The 43-member herd belonging to the circus will be moved to a Florida center for conservation
