This a beginner type fire kit. Very use full in wet conditions, Or when you are just learning basic fire making skills, Absolutely nothing wrong with using what ever it takes to learn how to make fire. As you get better at making fire always keep testing your self try and get away from helpers and try to move on to all natural means. Start small and work into bigger materials.
