Homosexuals Can Now Donate Their Blood, as long as they've not had sex for 12 Months!

The FDA today eased restrictions on blood donations from homosexuals—as long as they've not had sex for a year.

The move alters the long-standing prohibition on men who have had sex with other men at any time since 1977 from donating blood.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in a recent report, said that men who have gay sex represent about 2 percent of the U.S. population. That report also noted that in 2010, 63 percent of all new infections from HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, were among men who have sex with men.
