CES 2015: Intel's Spider Dress Keeps People Out Of Your Personal Space

Intel wants to ensure that your personal space stays just that: personal. Designer Anouk Wipprecht has created the Spider Dress, a 3-D printed ensemble with robotic spider legs surrounding the collar. The dress, powered by Intel Edison, is equipped with proximity sensors and biometric signals that “measure” your stress levels, inferring when someone gets a little too close for comfort. In response, the dress’s legs shoot forward in a “territorial attack.”
