Paul Brewster Micheal Rogers and Legacy - Station Inn Nashville - Buck Medley

Just another great Wednesday night Nov. 2014 at the Station Inn Nashville Tennessee. I was fortunate to sit right in front of some of the best country and bluegrass musicians around town. Here's a little bit of history on this all star cast of pickers.

Paul Brewster acoustic guitar, vocals left front. For the last 18 years, Paul has been the tenor singer and rhythm guitarist alongside GRAMMY-Award Winner Ricky Skaggs, as a member of the 8-Time IBMA Instrumental Group of the Year, Kentucky Thunder.

Michael Rogers front right. Michael is the one singing lead in most of this series of videos and currently plays Guitar,Ganjo, Mando and Vocals with country star Craig Morgan. Michael also has been a part of Doyle Lawson's band Quicksilver and is an outstanding song writer.

Andy Wood electric guitar. What can I say about this guy that you don't already know. John Petruchi says he's one of the best up and coming guitarist and oh by the way, he just happens to hold a national champion mandolin title. Look him up on youtube and check out his shreds.

Carl White bass. Wow! This guy has been a friend to me for quite a few years. He's the one who invited me out to hear this extraordinary band. Carl plays the h~~~ out of a bass. He also plays piano, drums, sings, it may be easier to tell you what he doesn't do. Carl has also been a part of Doyle Lawson's Quicksilver Band.

Travis Toy steel guitar. Travis is currently the steel guitarist for a little band called Rascal Flatts. Need I say any more?

Jim Ed Hodges fiddle. A couple of songs quickly come to mind when you think of Jim Ed, including “On the Road Again,” or perhaps “I’ve Been Everywhere.” You see, Jim Ed has been playing fiddle for almost 40 years, and now at the age of 41 he has fulfilled a dream and finds himself still doing what he loves to do. Being Craig Morgan's fiddle player is just icing on the cake.

Russ Whitman drums. Don't let this little country shuffle fool ya. Russ has been the drummer for Frontiers, a Journey Tribute Band out of North Carolina. This guy can throw down. Want proof? Check this drum solo out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtVIzyylRwA

Wyatt Beard keyboards. Kenny Chesney’s keyboardist was honored with the first ever CMA Touring Musician Award. Not a bad gig huh?!

John Meyer banjo. Just 19 years old, John has been playing with his family group, the Meyer Bluegrass band, since his early teens. He recently join the Clay Hess Band. He appears in a couple of tunes in this video series. I just love his hair. Seriously, he's got bad ass hair!!!
