When we look at 2014's lead FPS console games; Destiny, Titanfall, Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare, they all have one thing in common. All of these games owe the majority of their core gaming mechanics to one game, 2001’s Halo: Combat Evolved.
A launch title for the original Xbox and quite possibly the reason that the 360 and Xbox One now exist, this Microsoft exclusive made the companies jump into the games console industry viable, stable and successful.
