The first organized ecotourism infrastructure with reception, information and tour of guests began operating in 1994 in Dadia Ecotourism Centre.
It was an initiative of WWF Greece in cooperation with the former community of Dadia, forestry service of Soufli, the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Agriculture.
This Center is currently the only space that accepts and inform guests about the Protected Area and receives a large number of visitors every year.
Tourist traffic does not yet create particular problems in ecosystem functions, as the main volume of visitors from the Information Centre visit the observatory of raptors birds with controlled access road through forest and hiking trails.
