Finally the day comes when they get the result of their hard work, when their crop becomes good. Cardamom has a strong, unique taste, with an intensely aromatic, resinous fragrance. Black cardamom has a distinctly more Smokey, though not bitter, aroma, with a coolness some consider similar to mint. Green cardamom is one of the most expensive spices by weight, but little is needed to impart flavor. It is best stored in pod form because once the seeds are exposed or ground, they quickly lose their flavor. But poor farmers have to again work really hard. They have to take it down to the Phungling from lele. They carry them on their back and on the way also they are not safe. They have high probability of being robbed as they can be robbed by thief on the way. It is said that thief uses spices to rob them. They throw it on their eye and take the cardamom away.
