Disgraceful Arsenal fans scream abuse in Arsene Wenger’s face at Stoke station
A group of Arsenal fans brought shame on the club after hurling sickening abuse at boss Arsene Wenger as he made his way home following the 3-2 defeat at Stoke.
The Frenchman, 65, was forced to make his way through a baying mob of Arsenal fans as he and the team attempted to board a train back to London on Saturday night.
As Wenger emerged onto the platform, the waiting supporters launched into an expletive-ridden assault on the Gunners’ manager, who calmly made his way onto the train via a police escort.
The disgraceful scenes come after Arsenal were humbled at the Britannia, with large sections of fans now calling for Wenger to be removed as boss.
