Century-Old 'Improved Mandolina' Makes a Magical Melody

When you discover a rare and wonderful item, it’s hard not to want to share your news with the world. This was the case for the Laster family at their Fine Art and Antiques store in North Carolina. The shop is currently home to a treasured music player from the early 1900s, which still produces a fine, crisp, clear tune when wound. It seems the instrument, inscribed with the name ‘The Improved Mandolina’, might just be getting better with age! Credit: YouTube/Ryan L
