The new school year in Thailand, the first since the military coup in May, began this week. It is also the debut of new teaching methods and curriculum put in place by the junta. The military government has added twelve virtues of being Thai to new school curriculum. Teachers were trained on new techniques and on how to enshrin principles, like being grateful to parents and teachers, in the minds of Thailand's future. But not all students agree with these changes, with some seeing this as army control over how they think and behave. Al Jazeera's Scott Heidler reports from Bangkok.
