Peruvian, Russian presidents meet in Moscow

Peruvian President Ollanta Humala is meeting today, Friday, in Moscow with Russian President Vladimir Putin. It marks the first visit to Russia by a Peruvian head of state since 1969, when Peru and the Soviet Union established diplomatic relations. The meeting seeks to strengthen bilateral relations in the fields of trade, tourism, and environmental cooperation. Humala will then proceed to Beijing for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation summit and then on to the Vatican for a meeting with Pope Francis. Rael Mora reports from Lima. teleSUR
