Number 5. Fluent in Italian and Spanish. Bryant's family moved to Italy when he was six, and he learned to speak both Italian and Spanish while there.

Number 4. Named after steak. His parents named him Kobe after the region in Japan where the Wagyu species of cattle are raised.

Number 3. He took Brandy to his high school prom. Back in 1996, right before 17-year-old Bryant was drafted into the NBA, he took singer Brandy to his prom in Pennsylvania.

Number 2. Holds second highest NBA game score. Bryant scored 81 points playing against the Toronto Raptors in 2006, coming in second only to Wilt Chamberlain, who holds the number one spot with his 100 point record.
