2015 Ariel Ace

Ariel was mostly known for its impressive lightweight Atom, which was created for adrenaline junkie drivers who love to play on the track. But not many know that the company was initially building motorcycles and not four wheels vehicles. Therefore it should come as no surprise that they’ve decided to create an all-new motorcycle.
Ariel’s new two wheeler is named the Ace and like it was expected, it shares the same racy DNA with the Atom. The most impressive thing about the new Ace is its multiple personality - as it can be fully customize.

Among the options available for the bike you’ll find three types of fuel tanks, three wheelbase lengths, two suspension setups and three seat heights.

The motorcycle is built on a lightweight tubular aluminum frame which features different head angles, via interchangeable eccentric bearing holders that help you set various degrees for the rake angle (between 21.8 degrees to 28.4 degrees).

The frame houses a 76 degree, 1237cc, Unicam, Honda V4 engine which cranks out 173 BHP at 10,000 rpm and 131Nm of torque at 8750 rpm. The V4’s power is kept in leash by a six speed manual transmission but there is also available a dual clutch unit.

As far as performances are concerned, the engine can propel you to 165 mph in not less than 3.4 seconds.

The new Ariel Ace can is produced in 100-150 units per year and comes with a base price of 20.000 GBP.
