Each week on “The Global African” host Bill Fletcher, Jr. addresses issues facing Africa and the African Diasporas. Today's program discusses the African Union (AU), a Pan-African organization with 54 member nations and whose charter proclaims that its mission is to serve and unite the countries of Africa toward regional integration, peace, and prosperity. But who does the AU really serve? Do the ruling elites have their own agenda?
