DETROIT - Detroit Police tell Fox 2 that an arrest has been made in the shooting that left a 7-year-old girl in critical condition.

Police say, shortly before 5:30 p.m. Sunday, India Williams, a 7-year-old girl, was playing outside of a home in the 20400 block of Charest on the city's east side when she was struck by a stray bullet.

According to police, a vehicle was following another car at a high rate of speed down the street and both exchanged gunfire. One of the bullets struck the 7-year-old girl in her chest, another in her side.

Police tell us there is another suspect they are searching for, a black male, 36 years old, 6'1" and bald.
