Dr. Dre is highest paid in hip hop, DiCaprio address UN

Dr. Dre has topped Forbes list as the highest paid hip hop artist. The veteran musician and record producer reportedly earned 620 million dollars for the year ending June 2014. Forbes said Dre's estimated earnings are the highest annual total of any musician it has ever evaluated and more than the combined takings of the other 24 names on the list. Much of his earnings are thanks to the 3 billion dollar sale of the Beats headphone company to Apple.

Leonardo DiCaprio addressed the U.N. summit meeting on climate change. The actor and environmental activist was recently named a United Nations Messenger of Peace, a post he will use to raise awareness about climate change. During his speech, the actor pleaded with the roughly 193 member states in attendance to step up and make environmental policy a priority.
