- John Kerry has said that ISIS does not represent the true face of Islam.
Adnan Oktar: I can tell them what the truth of the matter is. Some Sunnis think that ISIS is doing exactly the right thing. According to some Shiites, too, they are also doing the right thing, and even not doing enough (savagery). The traditionalist, orthodox conception of Islam is along the lines of ISIS – ‘killing, slaughter, killing.’ ‘Beating, swearing, humiliation.’ Nothing other than this. Why are you ignoring this? These things only have no place in the Islam of the Qur’an. The Islam of the Qur’an says ‘Your religion for you and my religion for me.’
A great many Iraqis shave their beards. That is why ISIS has begun maltreating the Iraqi people. If a man shaves three days in a row he will be killed (according to Sunni belief). That is a fundamental belief among some Sunnis. Someone who does not pray will be killed. I am referring to ‘some’ Sunnis here out of kindness. It is explicit – they will be killed. Anyone who does not give alms must be killed. Turn right or turn left it is all about killing, and beating and hanging. If the USA accepts the traditionalist, orthodox conception of Islam, these things are right. But if it accepts the Islam of the Qur’an, they are totally wrong. This scourge will continue so long as they ignore that fact.
I have warned America about this before. I told them that the ‘traditionalist, orthodox conception of Islam’ will ruin you and the world. I told them 15 years ago. I wrote to all the leaders. I told them to espouse the Islam of the Qur’an because that scourge is coming and you will never be rid of it. I warned them the scourge would smother them. They did not listen. They are still pretending not to understand, though it is coming ever closer. There is no other way than the Islam of the Qur’an. If you base your system on false hadiths derived from paganism, that is the result. ISIS’ members all know Arabic. They all know the hadiths by heart and even what page they are on. The hadiths tell us to kill, they say. And they go and kill. It is as clear as that.
They must decide whether to sign up to the Islam of the Qur’an or a pagan conception of Islam. They must choose one or the other. A pagan conception of Islam, or the true Islam set out in the Qur’an? If they espouse the true conception of Islam set out by the Qur’an, they must support its supporters. Not just stand there with their mouths open. They must not wait until the scourge is upon them. If they ignore it, it will come in such a way that they cannot ignore it.

A military operation against ISIS is no solution. That is not sensible. Because we are dealing with an idea. We need to oppose that idea with a good and true idea. And that is the pure form of the Qur’an. The Qur’an with nothing added. If we stand up with the pure Qur’an, that will be an end to it. But ISIS has emerged with ideas from a swamp of nonsense. It is superstition that has made them like this. If we can rid ISIS of that superstition, that will put an end to it. But the only people who can do that are people from the system of the Mahdi. It would be very hard for anyone else. I have said this many times. ISIS will grow stronger and expand and continue to spread savagery. No one will want to engage in military combat against them. Because they have the support of the local people. They have traditionalist, orthodox conception of Islam. But education can solve the problem entirely. And everyone knows it is education that will do the job. You can tell that from their despairing language. They always use this despairing language in the face of ISIS. The answer to despair is the system of the Mahdi. They use this despairing language because they know the system of the Mahdi is the answer.

Adnan Oktar: But in that case the people who want to join will just operate in Britain instead. There will be a rise in barbarity and savagery. That is not a solution. ISIS can only be fought through education. That is obvious. If he cannot enter by one route, a person will enter by another. Pressure just drives people mad. The fight has to be with ideas, love and education. But they are determined not to attach any importance to education. They are making a mistake.
