Lorraine Watson, who turns 70 in 2015, decided to skydive for the charity Shine in memory of her son Andrew. Lorraine, who affectionately calls herself ‘Kamikaze Gran’ on her Just Giving page, has supported the charity since 1968. Lorraine’s son Andrew was born with spina bifida and loved the idea of his mum doing a skydive, but he sadly died 33 years ago aged 13, before Lorraine had the chance.
