Croatia on flood watch as water levels rise

Wholesale flooding is threatening much of Croatia after heavy rain in the region caused rivers to swell.
Central parts of the country are thought to be most at risk, where some areas have already flooded.
Sandbag defences have been deployed around some of the worst regions with locals being aided by Croatian troops.
Officials have warned that over the next 24 hours the Kupa and Sava rivers are at risk of flood surges.
The Balkans were hit by the worst flooding since records began earlier this year, killing over 40 people. No injuries or deaths have yet been reported in this latest spell of heavy rain.
