Penned and composed by famous Bangladeshi poet Rudra Mohammad Shahidullah, this song speaks of love and pain, almost under the same breath. Married to author-activist, Taslima Nasreen for 4 years between 1982 and 1986, Shahidullah committed suicide in 1992. This song, sections of music enthusiasts in bengal claim, was actually composed as a suicide note.
