Actor Richard Kiel, best known for playing metal-mouthed James Bond villain Jaws, died on Wednesday (September 10) at a hospital in Fresno, California. He was 74.

Standing at 7 feet 2 inches (2.2 meters) tall, Kiel's imposing height made him one of the most recognizable villains in the James Bond film franchise, playing Jaws in 1977's "The Spy Who Loved Me" and 1979's "Moonraker" opposite Roger Moore's Bond.

Damon Albarn, Bombay Bicycle Club, Kate Tempest and FKA twigs are among the 12 acts celebrating after being nominated for the 2014 Barclaycard Mercury Prize on Wednesday (September 10).

The prize recognizes the best British or Irish record of the last 12 months.

The winner of the prize will be announced on October 29.

US R&B singer and producer Pharrell Williams was in London on Wednesday (September 10) to play to excited fans at the eighth annual iTunes Festival.

Accompanied by his band and backing dancers, the 41-year-old was joined by his N.E.
