Recipe to prepare "Paneer Manchurian", a blend of Indian and Chinese cuisine:
Ingredients: 1. refined or sesame oil - 1 table spoon 2. ginger (finely chopped) - 1/2 inch 3. garlic (finely chopped) - 3-4 cloves 4. carrot (julienned) - 1 medium size 5. cabbage (julienned) - 1 small size 6. capsicum (julienned) - 1 medium size 7. soya sauce - 1 tea spoon 8. green chilly sauce - 1 tea spoon 9. garlic chilly sauce - 1 tea spoon 10. vinegar - 1 tea spoon 11. cottage cheese cubes (paneer) - 200 grams 12. salt - to taste 13. black pepper powder - 1/4 tea spoon 14. spring onion (hara pyaaz) - 2-3 stalks 15. spring garlic (hara lehsun) - 2 stalks 16. water - 1 medium cup 17. mixture of cornflour and (cold) water - 4 tea spoons
Procedure: 1. heat 1 table spoon refined or sesame oil in a pan 2. add finely chopped ginger (1/2 inch) 3. add finely chopped garlic (3-4 cloves), and fry 4. add little (chopped) spring garlic (hara lehsun) 5. add julienned carrot (1 medium size) 6. add julienned cabbage (1 medium bowl) 7. mix all the ingredients 8. add julienned capsicum (1 medium size) 9. add 1 tea spoon soya sauce 10. add 1 tea spoon green chilly sauce 11. add 1 tea spoon garlic chilly sauce 12. toss the dish 13. add 1 tea spoon vinegar, and stir 14. add cottage cheese cubes (200 grams), and mix properly 15. add salt (to taste) 16. add 1/4 tea spoon black pepper powder 17. add little (chopped) spring onion (hara pyaaz) 18. add 1 medium cup water 19. allow the gravy to boil properly 20. add 4 tea spoons mixture of cornflour and (cold) water 21. cook the gravy until it gets thick consistency 22. put off the flame 23. garnish the dish with little (chopped) spring onion, and serve
